WQXR presents Ailyn Pérez, Stephen Costello and Angela Meade

Operavore celebrates three rising stars of opera! SopranoAilyn Pérez, winner of the 2012 Richard Tucker Award, will be joined by fellow winners tenor Stephen Costello (2009) and soprano Angela Meade (2011) for arias and duets, accompanied by pianist Brian Zeger. The intimate and exclusive evening will also feature conversation with the celebrated soprano Aprile Millo, winner of the 1985 Tucker Award, and Barry Tucker, son of the great American tenor and President of the Richard Tucker Music Foundation. This event will be Miss Pérez’s first performance in New York since being named this year’s Tucker Award winner.
