‘La bohème’ with The Phildadelphia Orchestra
On June 7 and 9, Stephen Costello joins The Philadelphia Orchestra for performances as Rodolfo in Giacomo Puccini’s La bohème under the baton of the orchestra’s music director, Yannick Nézet-Séguin. The all-star cast includes Nicole Car as Mimì, Leah Hawkins as Musetta, Adam Plachetka as Marcello, Christian Van Horn as Colline, Alexey Lavrov as Schaunard, Donald Maxwell as Benoit/Alcindoro, and Bryan Umberto Hoyos as Parpignol. The performances will also feature the Philadelphia Symphonic Choir, Philadelphia Boys Choir, and Philadelphia Girls Choir. Paula Suozzi serves as the stage director, with Noele Stollmack handling the lighting design.
