‘La Bohème’ in Tokyo
On June 28, 30, July 2, 5, and 8, Stephen Costello returns to the stage of Tokyo’s Opera Palace as Rodolfo in La Bohème following his acclaimed house debut in 2019 for Madama Butterfly.
Under the skillful direction of Aguni Jun and the baton of NNTT Artistic Director Ono Kazushi, this production promises to be an unforgettable highlight as it commemorates the 25th anniversary of the renowned New National Theatre, Tokyo. The stellar cast will also include Alessandra Marianelli as Mimì, Sudo Shingo as Marcello, Valentina Mastrangelo as Musetta, Komada Toshiaki as Schaunard, Francesco Leone as Colline, Shikano Yoshiyuki as Benoit and Hare Masahiko as Alcindoro.
There will be a live stream of the July 2nd performance which will be available to watch through their Video on Demand service from July 16 to August 12, 2023.
